They are the weat coast, and in this case Northwestern Coastal Blacktails.
There is a run on the Columbia, but these are not them.
Not all sub species are listed.
Many sub species are living in micro-climes...this is the Willapa Hills band.

Me too! I asked for DE and they just stared at me, so I had to try to say it and then they looked at me like I was a moron. And when I asked for food-grade, they said, "there is only one kind", real snotty-like, so I got a huge bag, probably 50 lbs, and I am sure it is the wrong thing. Dang it! Glad I wasn't the only one who felt like an idiot!
Boy does that sound familiar ! I can never remember the name for DE either
So ya need to do what I do when I need to go buy the stuff
I take Kim with me
she knows how to say the name
so I just have her ask for it
I can't pronounce the name when I see it anyway
You can buy food grade of DE at the Issaquah Grange
Do ya need me to look at the bag and write down the name and post it here???
That was at 11am and she's still asleep. I am torn between waking her up or letting her sleep.
I felt really bad for her when we held her down for the shots in her little meaty thighs....the look she gave me when they stabbed them into her was horrible.

The heat lamps were on in the greenhouse this morning. They come on at 35 degrees and off at 45. I'm glad I got it set up and got the most tender things inside yesterday. Those that will tolerate a few degrees of frost, will wait a little longer.
I need to hae some sort of "off-on" switch automatic thingy like that. It would make my life a lot easier. As it is....I plug in the heat lamps at night and unplug when I leave for work. Hopefully I don't forget and leave it on all day.
I use a thermo cube. It turns the heat lamps an and off automatically, so I don't need to remember anything. Remembering things is not my strong suit anymore.
Just make sure you don't get the kind for air conditioners.

The first time my older son had shots, I didn't know he was going to react to the egg the germs had been incubated in. His meaty little thigh blew up like a balloon, and he screamed and screamed. I didn't go without asprin or benedryl ever again.
