From Ethel Don't even think about trying to go back you will have enough trouble keeping up just jumping in from here. These are some of the very best most helpful and caring people you will ever know.

I have recently had a few friend requests on FB. I think some of them may be BYC buddies but I don't know all the names that go with byc names. So PLEASE if you are requesting send me an e-mail, PM or message. Otherwise sadly I will blow ya off and there are really very few I would do that to on purpose. I'm sure they know who they are and probably wouldn't request anyway.

And please remember that kids BOUNCE! Its not a joke. Don't freak out every time he falls down, or every time he bumps his little head! The more you react to things like this, the more he will freak out when they happen. Its hard trust me I know! But you will both be better for it!

I don't think so, I have been doing the same thing. They learn it eventually. Can you put a light in the coop so that as it gets dark, the inside of the coop is light and inviting? Then you can just turn it off when they go in. I have heard that it works so I am trying it. But I have faith that they will eventually learn. My others did but it seems a little harder and scarier for them with a raised coop. Keep doing what you are doing!
