What a wonderful thing to wake up to. At least it didn't get cold. Last nights low was 48!

Once it's light enough to see, I will go out and access the damage to the coops. Hopefully I didn't loose too many shingles.

Smoked Oysters? Heck, I like food -- especially veggies. I love me some meat-n-taters -- but I eat 3 pieces of fresh fruit a day (minimum) and all the veggies I can get my teefies into

Good Morning all. Still getting up an hour early as I haven't got used to the time change yet. So dark so early I just end up going to bed. DH on the computer, kids watching TV (and the stupidest shows)so I just go to the bedroom and read then fall asleep usually by 9 pm. I get bored being stuck in the house so long with it dark out. I could do some house cleaning but have a hard time doing it when there are people in the house. I have to have the house to myself. Wish it could stay daylight savings all the time.

Which makes me think it is certainly OK to have wine a 4pm(it's still 5 pm to me). Drinking time shouldn't change just because they changed from Daylight savings!

Yippee, sold 5 roosters and 9 cockerels yesterday. I love it when I clear things out so I can rearrange.

Rustler, keep us posted on your friends dad. He's in our prayers. They've got to find him soon. So cold out there.

Well, looks like I'm the only one up but Velvet but he's offline so I'm talking to myself.

Sigh, still dark out but getting there. I see a glow on the horizon. Been getting a lot more eggs since I busted my chickens standing out in the dark away from the light in the coop. They are now locked up until I get out to let them out. Plan on doing Eprinex on the layer flock before letting them out this AM so want to get out there as soon as it's light.

Also plan on getting my garlic planted today and getting some Asian greens going in the greenhouse.

Yumm, love the smell of roasting garlic! One of my most favorite foods is mashing up roasted garlic with olive oil and either Cambazola or Gorgonzola cheese and spreading is on toasted artisan bread. Breakfast, lunch and dinner! Just finished up a batch this morning so got more in the oven.

Well, going to get dressed to get outside soon. See ya all later.
