It may be a good idea to advertise the ducks for sale on Craigs List out here in Centralia/Olympia area & say in the ad that you will have them for the day at the Chehalis Poultry Show on the 3rd..........anyone interested show up at the show.
Maybe that would help??

I have to wash all my birds with gavity fed spring water...heated in a pot & use a hudson sprayer pumped up with the bit of tide in it.
LOL This is so much good clean fun!!!!!!!
I am washing the turkey today...I put down a thick bed of straw in his pen so he will be out of the mud (hopefully) and maybe, just maybe, he will stay somewhat clean.
I have another issue...he has drug his wingtips in the mud enough to rub of about 1/2" of feathers, leaving the bare shaft

I am planning on clipping the bare shaft off..........and hopefully that is OK, I am hoping it is acceptible as the Toms will drag their wings in strut...and he does !!!

So sorry about the dietary restrictions, that's the pits! The barium swallow isn't that bad... at least it's something you swallow. I've seen some swallowing studies done with barium (they do things like put it between break like a sandwich, in yogurt, etc) and I haven't seen anyone gag or toss cookies yet. Not fun, but it shouldn't be uncomfortable.

The barium enema is the one that is awful............not fun at all, not seriously bad or scarey, just icky.
Barium swallow is just drinking the thick chalky stuff & get the pictures taken.
Not bad at all.

I thought about crating MrTom & taking him to the car wash............

But our car wash here has a broken hot water system, and just shoots ice water out...Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr that would be cruelty to animals and you would no doubt see my face on the news for torturing a turkey in a car wash.....................
