Cute cabin coop!!

And I've seen folks use cotton wagons before. That's cool stuff. Some day -- I'll have enough pasture that I can retire and just raise chickens -- then, I'm getting me some of those wagons

What CGG said. The air just sits there. We are having it pretty bad here right now. They are banning outside burning of any kind as the smoke actually sits low. Looks like you are driving through fog. It is hard on people who have breathing problems. There is a "high" ummmm, what is it called? High front that is sitting over us and not moving. It is keeping the days sunny (but cold) and the nights clear (and very cold). It is suppose to be around for another week or so. Which means nasty cold and no snow.

OMG I don't even know what to say to that. Lots of tears, but no words....

My FIL is the founder and retired president of the Veteran's Memorial Museum here in Chehalis. The last 18+ yrs of his life have been spent preserving the stories of the men, women and animals that have given their lives for the freedom of others... sadly, even for those who do not appreciate it.
It is very sad to see something like that happen to those who have given their lives. What's more sad is knowing that many people could care less.
One goal I have is to make sure my kids have a tremendous respect for our soldiers: past , present and future! Thanks Vets!!!!
Freedom is not free, many have willingly paid all!

I wanted to add that if you ever get a chance to stop in and see it, you will be overwhelmed with the job he has done putting all of it together! It's amazing!

They are now temporarily settled into "holding pens" until Saturday evening, then they go into the BIG coop with the the other girls.

Thank you sooo much Chickielady
