Sounds like a deal- I'll keep them if you can get DS or someone to do some damage to the plum thicket so we have a flat place to put them!

DS can't -- he has definite geographic restrictions (still it's better than being in jail ! ) -- but DH and I may be able to

I can work for only short periods of time, then I have to sit or lie down, but DH can do a lot, as long as his leg or shoulder don't start twinge-ing on him, and as long as what he's working on, isn't thorny

What needs gotten rid of is all thorns; I suppose I'll get one of my cousins to do it by February, I hope.

Also, I keep forgetting: I was begifted with about fifty egg cartons, including a bunch of styrofoam once, so I can return yours with interest the next time I see you.

OK since the question has been answered. Here the deal I had a target put on me and my freon bird. It was a question in the scavenger hunt.

He's is really good spirits. It was a long day, and he's got a LONG road ahead yet, he's just happy to be home.

Oh, and someone that didn't know that he was him, would not recognize him, but there is still more plastic surgery they are going to do to try to make him look more like "him".

Hey CR, it was nice to visit with you and your wife Saturday. You had some nice birds you were selling. Very healthy looking and BIG! I brought around 35 seramas from laying to 10 weeks and gave them to any kids that would show in 4H. The leaders showed up and picked some too. I want to get the bird out there. I think the birds got great families. A couple drove from Elma to pick up some roosters I had that were to big to show and they were going to play with the breed also. I saw your wife melt when I handed her a little serama frizzle. Great pocket birds hu? When she is ready for a young pair just let me know and I will give her a pair. Larry Urban was there and asked me to donate some for a few shows this spring to raffle for the 4H kids. He also said he is workng on a show and looking at September. Give me a months notice when you want to have a serama pair. Take care!

I already sold Stumpfarmer a Cree blue boy that was excellent!!!!!!!
So what?

He was for my cousin- and is doing a fine job up there (and said cousin is adding more Ameraucanas to his flock all the time, LF and Bantam both).

Here he is with some of the gang; that BSL is his queen, which shows dubious taste, but what can you do?

Well, if you want some Ams, then, go get a basketful of cousin's blue eggs...they should all be pure Ams & have that good lookin' daddy!

Well it is overcast, still, damp & dreary again...but 39 overnight.
Makes me wonder if a Pineapple Express isn't coming in again.....

Things are weird here without DH...my routine gets all catty-wompus & I have to reinvent things to do, all this extra time on my hands.
I have been put on "restriction" against any constryction less I hurt myself.
So I decided to get going on the Pysical Therapy again.
So, am doing 2 sets of 20 minutes of basic aerobics in the AM, weight lifting in the afternoon..and repeat the 2 sets of 20 minutes of aerobics in the late afternoon before dinner.

It is amazing how fast your muscle tone is LOST when not getting used.
All over the entire body, not just my leg.
The left thigh (quadracepts) are about a full 3" smaller than the right, and the consistancy of an underfilled water bed..or half set jello...

This is changing rapidly.

Chicken Math!!!
lau.gif

In this case, the chicken math goes this way: I have an empty chicken tractor that I'm stripping the plastic from and putting up on blocks, spraying with bleach solution, and setting to dry under a tarp early this week. It'll be modified in the face of experience and put in use for quarantine next spring. Today while I have help who can *lean over* I'll get all the wire cut for the Hamburg Extension (also the lumber for the coop moved up to where I need it)- putting wire up has turned out to be the one thing that's *mostly* easiest to do by myself. My hired hand is probably getting a real grown-up full time job soon, so I'll have budget for hiring My Cousin the Biker's son, who is fast and follows construction directions consisting mostly of diagrams drawn in the air and reference to fastener lengths. Thus, chicken coops. (Also eradication of plum thicket by chain saw).

Allegedly, my DDILTB is going to take on emptying the barn in the next six months so I can convert that space for something more useful than sheltered rot.

Oh ye of little faith...
