CL which Costco? What time? That could work

I think we have worked it out to be the Wholesale Sports place across from the Costco in Lacey..where we met you before, with Illia's Cockerel???
I still have to talk to the person we are to meet & see if that will work for her.

I have been "thinking" about you for weeks and just sending up the best wishes for recovery and prayers for peace in the moment for each day for you. Maybe because it is so late when I get set down at the 'puter, maybe(?) but I do know that I am in tears of restrained joy that you may have better news. Life is hard but we need to enjoy 'living' -- does that make sense.

cyber hugs,

k/

this is about you, so I don't care about the chickens at this moment =:~)

I am touched by your kindness and the kindness of all here. I have learned so much this last week.
I know what you are saying...
Even though some of us have never met or have barely met, my heart aches when yours does and is happy when you get great news!
I don't want this to always be about me (that's whyIi stay away sometimes)but yesterday was a good news day!
So, everybody, how's chicks?

LOL, my sportsman has only been off a few weeks since I bought it a year ago! Gotta hatch year round when working on projects. I have eggs from Black/Lav Orpington splits in there right now due on the 10th. Cross your fingers for lots of Lavs!

Is your Blue Wheaten Marans roo still available? Saw him on Craigslist and wanted him but had no way to get him here. If he is available maybe next time someone is in your area we can do a chicken relay. I have 2 very nice roos but I really love your boy! If he's not available maybe we can try and do the hatching egg thing again this season.

VF :::::::::::::::
Daily I think about you & my heart really does go out to you.
You seem to have very fresh wounds, and I think you have a very hard time dealing with this grief.
It has been my observation that many men have a very hard time dealing with such loss.
We women often (not always) have an easier time dealing with such grief & loss.
It is true that the same grief can be very hard for men.
Men do not seem to be able to just cry, and let it out....
My own DH just lost his Mother, and quickly, too.
She was very healthy one week & dying in days ...
It was as if a bolt of lightening had came from the sky and claimed her.
The shock was profound.
There was no preparation for it, she was perfectly healthy...and then contracted an infection and died.
Shock still is evident in the entire family.
DH has seemed very quiet about it,( is stoic the correct word?) and I know he has alot of grief bottled up inside.
Every so often when her name is mentioned or he sees her photo, he can become angry, arguementative, curt, snippy or moody, and has to go outside to walk the woods.
It may be healthy for him to do so, to confer with his thoughts & sorrow out in the woods.
We each have our way of dealing with our sorrows.
Maybe it would benefit you to see a Clergyman, or seek grief counseling...even Hospice can direct you to counserlors or Clergy that may help you.
And please, do not think yourself 'weak' to seek such help.
It may heal you, or teach you ways to heal yourself.
We all feel your grief...and wish you healing!
Many hugs to you!

I got a 50# sack of start N grow a few days ago at Del's in Montesano.
If you cannot find any, maybe get some Corid to add to their water, 1/4 tsp per gallon, and then you can feed them poultry feed or Flockraiser crumbles.
I have done that in the past.
