OK so since I drive school bus for a living I have a 4 hour break in between shifts and normally I stay at work or sign for extra trips and stuff. It is a 45 minutes commute each way so not worth the gas $ to drive back and forth. Uh NOT today! It was sooo worth the drive to come home and the second I walked over to my new babies and said hello they all got up and ran to my side of the brooder peeping like crazy! I LOVE IT!!! I hope I don't get sick before I have to go back to work! Hee Hee!

I am hooked and addictied! Y'all didn't tell my that you were dealers of the love drug!! '

How can you stop hatching ?
It is so fun !
I do think it would be great for all of us to meet up, a different place every week, and maybe even go to the farmer's market with our extra hatchlings...or try to sell them to the feed stores.
I bought my big beautiful Cuckoo Marans hens from Western Farms Store in Northern California...
Think it would be fun and profitable ?
Meet up one Saturday at Raymond Farmer's Market, and next time at Chehalis FM, and so on ??
Got a FM out your way ?

Well, it is hard to keep up when I am in bed for a day or two, but sounds like in general everyone has gotten their babies, or eggs in one way or another, and LaSombra, so sorry about your lost babies...and Illia's baby goats are so adorable, I keep going on to see the pictures.
Are twins common for LaManchas ?
And is everyone going nuts with the constant rain ?
And MUD ???
So, more honey, lemon and whiskey in a cup of hot water for me, a few nyquils...talk to you all tomorrow.

Does anyone here have any experience with the "CamoFarms" auctions in Oakville? Or have you heard anything about it?

It's a three hour drive from where I'm at but there are a few other reasons to head that way - it may as well be on auction weekend

Or if anyone else knows of any auctions that'd be awesome too!

I was just looking at their ad they posted on Craigslist, as I have all my California Rabbits, hutches, etc to sell...I may go out there this weekend and take a look.
It is a pain to haul heavy hutches out there, but may take the rabbits, in dog crates, and my wire cages out there this Saturday.
The guy running Elma feed likes the auction and has told me he has taken chicks there that have not sold.
Are you thinking of driving all the way from Ellensburg ???
Long drive.
There is supposed to be a Farmer's Market in Monroe I believe ?
There is one in Chehalis, too, and I think there is one in Olympia now, too.

I am back......
