FYI For those interested there is a way to turn off advertising. Go to the top of the page and click "MY PROFILE" Then click "Edit Account settings" scroll to the bottom and click "turn off ads" then click "SAVE" Please keep in mind that I am sure that the ads pay a large portion of keeping this site going and I am sure that is the reason they are there so IF / WHEN you can I would encourage shopping with the Sponsors of this site that we all obviously like so much.

that option is not in my account settings, I believe it will be an option for gfm and ppm only. I dont mind the ads, they do pay for a lot here. the recent reviews on the other hand lol...??

OK, here we go:

Chick #1:

Chick #2:

Yep, I'm pretty sure you've got yourself a pair! I'm not 100% on it yet, but I am 99%. When the feathers start coming in on their backs, just above and between their wings, the boy will have black and a pullet will have salmon.

Whooooo hooooo!!!

So the first chick with the darker wing feathers would be your guess for the male?

I'm glad CF confirmed my guess. When my chicks were that age it was pretty apparent that I had two pullets and a little roo. I love that they are relatively easy to sex when they are young. Really cute chicks WA4H Mom! All chicks are cute, but those SF Faverolles were pretty special to me. Oy, this is making me get hatching fever!

question on Faverolles....
Were they used to create AM's? they look a lot like AM's except colors and some conformations.....
I guess its the beards that makes them look alike to me....
