Argh. I keep leaving this window open and going off to do things, because I'm too far behind on this thread ever to catch up!

Driveway is still a tasty combination of slush and glare ice, at 46F! 64.2 in the study. I need to go put the storm curtains back where they belong to figure out what the temperature is in the living room. Right now it says 50F but that's the temp on the inside of double-weight upholstry brocade with a coated back over another set of curtains and aluminum shades. Oh, and triple-pane thermal-break windows.

Saw one of my cousin's hen pheasants under the broken tops of the plum tree yesterday: good wildlife habitat, but it's laying on the pasture fence, and that's not a tolerable situation.

In my experience, the critical part of SSS is "shut up."

CR on my way to log off & got a message from Gritsar, who says has spoken with Imp a few times & he had issues getting to & from work and (thinks) at one point had no power, when they speak next the message will be passed on for the Imp to check in !!

Does anyone know of anybody in the PNW who raises exhibition quality Pomeranian geese (besides me)?

It is looking like I am going to have to drive to Redding Calif to get new goslings and that is a very long drive. I'd sure like to find some closer to home.

How do you look up a member by their username? It used to be on a bar at the top of the page but can't find anything now. They did away with buddy lists and now I can't find anyone.

I placed a second mailbox under my first one. When someone calls I place the eggs in that and go collect the money later. Works great for me and the customer so we don't have to have a schedule. I can fit two cartons in regular size mailbox. I bet if you got a big one you could fit quite a few in there.

I would be surprised if they get that price. See I spent a couple days this summer talking to a guy who deals in CI. I also learned how to identify and date a few.
Also youdid see that the pan has been sand blasted right.
