And continuing with the sharing the wealth theme, I ordered too many egg cartons. They are plastic, for six eggs, and brand new. If no local BYC folks need any, I will probably have to put them on Craigslist or ebay, or maybe the auction thread here.

Last but not least, Sadie Sue, congrats on the opening of your show!

OK I am biting on this offer, but where are you ???????????

Ok Becky, we know you are lurking...step in & say something!

I have to go do Work with peeps so will be back later~~~~~~~

We see you, Beektoria !!!!!!!!!!!

Come join !!!!!!!!!

Funny thing - we had the roast dinner last night too, the turkey (frozen, from thanksgiving) popovers, mash, Brussels sprouts, corn and gravy.

And tonight, Eggplant parm (yeah those poor baby veals).

And I love Cioppino - they make a really good one at the Sardine Factory in Monterrey.

Wish we all lived closer. Wouldn't it be nice if each one only had to cook one meal a week or less, and then we could each eat at each others' house. I mena, if you are cooking for one or two, may as well cook for a dozen.

Just saying . . .

X2 - wouldn't that be fun??? I LOVE to team cook...especially if there's wine involved

Oh, for the record, I'm making stir fried tofu with sliced portabellas and Japanese eggplant tonight. Tomorrow night's gonna be roast ham with all the fixin's. Doesn't beat CL's full on thanksgiving feast or CGG's gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce, though...

Then again, I can't see how to email you...

Anyway, I am in East Renton Highlands, near Issaquah. I am planning to be at Monroe but we could probably figure out how to get the cartons and any oat flour (if you would like any) to you before then.

I also talked about getting chicks or started pullets from you in the PM, but we'll deal with that later. :)

This we could do...if some of us get together & all come to 1 home.
I do not have the room for alot of people , but I will 1 day!
Maybe we need to do this at your digs ?
Once the clams have opened, we dish & eat...it is messy, and oh so wonderful !
Yup, we could do it here, spring summerish. Well, perhaps I should find out what's in season and when first. Love clams and MUSSELS!

I have found some gluten free flour, so I'm going to try some dutch oven bread - can't have a fish stew without bread, it's sinful!
