DH HAD over $100K in CDs both his & in trust for each of the grandkids, in Well Fargo, and over $2500 in his checking at all times.
His savings was only $500, so they nailed him for $15 fee last month.
HE WENT BALLISTIC !!!!!!!!
He withdrew the CDs as soon as he could (without penalty) and rolled them over to a Credit Union (Community) in Elma.
We went online & called every bank & CU out here within 100 Miles to find the best CD rates, and it was BECU, but too far away.
So we put them in Elma Community CU.
Applesauce on Wells fargo !
He has to waite for his auto deposit on the 25th..........then he is closing Wells fargo & never looking back.

Never have a seen a business reward their loyal customers, good customers ! Customers with lots of money !
The way Wells fargo & B of A are doing.
What a way to treat good customers !
Imagine if all businesses treated their loyal good customers in this manner !

We can all sleep soundly knowing our monies are stuffing the mattresses and pillows of RonB and CR.

Ya know though. I never met either one of you in person (yet), and I think I could actually sleep better (have more trustt) in the both of you vs. any bank.

We got rid of BofA some years ago, and then when we moved here, got rid of Wells Fargo, after they held a check for 2 weeks. I reckon they only hold it for so long to use it - they can certainly check with the other bank to see if there are funds available.

I was furious at the time, so when she asked me why I was closing my account, I told her I was terminal (well, it's true, we all go sometime) and I was going on a spending spree. That shut her up. (well, I know it wasn't her fault, it was bank policy but I was just so mad. . . )

Thanks you - she really was a nice girl, and she gave me some very nice babies too - although she looks bay, this little baby turned out a lovely dapple grey.

Alrighty then, off to the kitchen to boil 12 pounds of Orange honey. Going to make a big batch of mead.

That's one big jug of honey, and I have another one in the Garage ('cept that one's wildflower)!
