I have been managing to get by and try to learn the new BYC. Then this morning I was looking at a thread of solved problems. I discovered that I was not running IE-9 but something called a pre-release IE-9. So I updated and guess what My whole screen lay out is changed

Hey CL the Crows stopped laying about Oct. and are still just hangin out for free food. Is this kind of normal for thier kind. They have been spared as I know they were just POL when I got them from you at Chehalis last year.
BTW I think they are pretty safe here. See they are so wild I don't think ya could catch em in the middle of the night with the help of a scatter gun !! ! !

Look at those eyes! What a cutie - whose daughter is she? I don't know that I've ever seen pics of any of your kids before - is that your son? Where does he live?

That is my baby boy Ben, and his SO, and my GD Samantha (3 at the time) and she is 4 & 1/2 now.
The babe in arms is my GS Ryan...who is a doll also.
Samantha's eyes are light brilliant blue as if lit from behind, and circled by dark blue that really sets them off......he hair is THICK blonde/ash that is also gorgeous.
I love her skin also...porcelin.
Samantha gets the eyes from her other Grandma, my eyes are green.
Ben's eyes are blue (my son)
I expect this little girl to be absolutely gorgeous when she is grown, as she is now.

These birds should have had a moult (if however small) about October.
IF they have light all day for 16 hours (which they do not if they are outside in the dim light of rainy days) then they will stop lay during dark winter days.
Some breeds will keep laying with less light, and some do not.
It has been my experience that Marans, Rocks & Bucks keep on laying (if not in moult) and the Ams will not.
Interesting that the Am X Marans OEs will usually keep laying with winter light, where a pure Am will stop laying.
