Yes they are very precious. Anyone want some? lol If they stay until they are big they will take over! lol
But they are adorable.
I would take some but I have a feeling that after bringing home pheasant eggs to hatch today that if I try to bring home one more critter I may be living with them outside lol

LOL I know the feeling. I have until they are about 4-6 months old to find them new homes, or its off to freezer camp for them. I have a feeling that if I were to keep any, my husband would have me sleeping in the pen with them. lol
i found the chick. 500 feet away from the pen. i guess it got out and either it died of expose or one of the chickens got it and carried it off. its body was intact but its head was a little crushed and the ants were on it. i told it sorry i didn't make the pen secure enough and tossed it in the dumpster.....
i tried to secure it better now and hope more of the impossible eggs hatch....
course now it would be even more impossible because we have a big thunder/wind and rain storm sneak up and there is only a tarp covering the hen sitting on the eggs in a cardboard box.... so yeah,.
when john goes to put the chickens away tonight i will have him check them and see if they are dry....
-sigh- now if there are any more chicks hatched from that pen they will be removed and placed in a brooder. no chances.
the other tractor seems more secure but no hatches yet..............

How did you do this? I have been trying and I have not figured out how to do it yet....mine always say they are too big.
If you use the BYC uploader, there is an option you can select to resize while uploading. You need to choose a pic to use as your avatar, and upload it to BYC. When you upload, make sure that you select to resize to avatar size. Avatars can't be larger than 100x100. Once you upload a pic 100x100 or smaller you can choose it as your avatar.
