Yes, it should hold awhile longer. Most people try to hatch eggs that are a week old or less, but many have hatched eggs 2 weeks old or even a little older. As long as they are turned and kept in a cool environment, they can hang on. Of course the fresher the eggs, the better! But I would wait for a couple more this week into next. If you don't get anymore, by middle of next week, I'd put it in by it's lonesome.

Just a few minutes, they only have about a cup or less of blood in them that bleeds out. It doesn't take long at all.
