Soup, lots of soup and really hot! Chicken is best but any will do. If you can add a couple of cloves of garlic, it will help raise your core temp.

Oh and one more thing from today. This was sick, funny, and nearly pushed my limits ! We got a first hand reason why they DO NOT allow dogs in the fair grounds. This guy was on the other side of the isle, like 10' away. Meantime his dog proceeds to come over right to the edge of our booth and pretend it is the local doggy bank. He makes a DEPOSIT Lucky for the guy somebody was quick to hand him a plastic bag before we had anymore bad words.

CR- Don't you just love large community events where everyone thinks they ought to bring their dog? Protect your pet, leave it at home! Like I should talk about pets when I have seen parents do similar things with their children!!!

The local u-pick blueberry farm does not allow pickers to bring dogs. Once I saw a man really irrate when the owner kindly asked him to keep his dog in the car. The picker was a rude jerk and was berating the owner for this policy, saying he would make sure not to let his dog pee on the blueberries, and how the F--- can he have that policy if elk, deer, and other wildlife are free to roam through, he's discriminating against pet owners, etc, B.S. .... The guy was having a fit, and while doing so, his dog wandered over and peed on a blueberry bush and then left a dump in one of the rows.

Hi folks and welcome to all the new people!!! I think all this foul weather is keeping people inside and they are finding us!!!

Had a small hatch yesterday of 2 blue/2 black Ameraucana's. Have one more Bantam Cochin slowly working at it. Have a huge hatch scheduled for the 8th too.

Spring break is this week for the kids. We don't have anything planned and they are bored already!!!! How can that be?!?!? It will be a long week........

Got the big garden bed tilled last weekend and got some peas and lettuces planted. Had hoped to get more in this week but all I want to do is crawl under the covers!!!

I did book a trip to Cabo for the first weekend in June for DH and I to celebrate our 20th anniversary!!!! It cannot come fast enough!!!!

Had the CT Scan of my neck on Wednesday and am hoping to hear from my dr on Monday. Although funnily enough, the shoulder pain, has almost gone away!!! Not gone completely, but oh so much better than it was the week before when I finally went into the dr. Oh well.

Spent the morning at our Poultry Judging Contest for the Snohomish County 4-H Poultry Program. Found out some distressing news. Apparantly, King County is doing away with 4-H at the end of the 4-H year which is Sept 29th. As of now, if you have a King County address, those kids are unable to enroll in 4-H for next year. We are hoping and praying that the find a resolution in this and let the kids enroll in another county for next year. We have a huge 4-H club in Duvall that would just be gone, as well as a huge Homing Pigeon Club in Woodinville.

Anyway, that is about all that is new here! Hope everyone is doing ok. Have we heard from RonB lately? I PM'd with him a day or two after his surgery and he was already going stir crazy!!! Hope everyone is dong well!!!

King County as of now has pulled the funding for 4-H. WSU has said that if King County does not fund 4-H that King country residents won't be able to participate out of County. My daughters
club participates in Snohomish but as things stand, they won't be able to next year. Hopefully enough people complain to the King County Counsel so they change their minds.

OK time for somebody to fess up ! ! ! Yesterday While I was away from the booth somebody stopped by and said they had seen the little chicks on BYC. So Who were/are you. DW also told me jbear stopped by but there was another after that.
