Smash it all up together so it is crumbly........
Now, in greased 8 x 8 pyrex, pour bottom with berrie about 1 berry deep...then fold in the rest of the berries & blob into the pan...smear it around so it is level & air spaces filled, then sprinkle the crumbs on top.
Bake at 350 for 20-30 or until batter is cooked & tooth pick inserted comes out clean.
This recipe can be made with regular flour, just omit the Xanthum gum.it is super awesome !!!
Also great with squirt whip cream on top or vanilla ice cream.
Unfortunately, that is what I am afraid of. LOL. At this point...planning on 10 x 20. I am building a serama coop. It will have individual pens inside of it to house them.
Cheryl,
Old New England's wives trick, works WONDERFULLY! Have a few friends hold your shoulders as you sit on a chair or couch. Then have someone stand in front of you, standing away from you and grab a foot. They should give your foot a few good hard tugs like they are trying to remove a winter boot. Then do the same with the other foot. Repeat twice a day, for two days. They may need you to brace yourself with your other foot on their tush if you don't have extra friends to hold your shoulders.
You'll go into labor within 24-48 hours, generally. May be earlier.
There's something about getting the muscles of the uterus to begin contracting, some midwife must have noticed that women went into labor during snowstorms and started recommending it back in the days before the AMA. Works like a charm.
I've gotten over a dozen ladies to go into labor with this trick, including aunties and bosses!
I wonder if this working has something to do with stretching the ligaments and muscles in the hips and pelvic region. Interesting to say the least. Unfortunately, I really dont have anyone around to help me do these "forced stretches." I mean my mom is next door, but she wouldnt be able to do it... Hmm... Now you got me thinking. lol Thanks for the info! Might have to see about getting help with this one!
Are you able to do squats? I used the foot board of my bed so I could hold on n help myself up then squat down sittin on your ankles and bonce slightly not fast and take slow deep breaths. It stretches your pelvic and the deep breaths brings oxygen down to your uterus. I did this about one time an hr for about 4-6 mins and walked around my house and within 4 hrs I was in labor. You can also do this on a exercise ball or a birthing ball. Slow steady bouncing or rolling your hips like you would with a hula hoop. You can also sit on the floor with a pillow under your belly for support spread your legs not wide but comfortably apart and slowly stretch forward and side to side this. I have lots of good tricks. Good Luck![]()
