Big thumbs up! It is beautiful here today. I am having my flowers that I purchaed almost a month ago andmy potting supplies brought to the patio so I can work on my flower pots.

Hi! We are new to the whole chicken thing and are now addicted! We have 6 in our flock and would like 2 more but don't really know where to go in our area ideally we would like a Welsummer or a Maran but I have my heart set on a Ameraucana or Araucana. We have really enjoyed our girls and sit out watching them while we have our morning coffee! We are looking in the Skagit, Whatcom, Snohomish or even in King counties. We have looked around but we want pullets about 15 to 20 weeks of age! Please if anyone knows i would really appreciate the info!

You should do some bead work in the sun and relax, but I do know that planting flowers is my first choice.

Welcome Theresa. I'm new here, but I am sure there will be others who will chime in with advice for you!
Enjoy the beautiful day!!

Well my kiddo's are happy: our rooster Jimmy is now sitting in a pot in the frig for dinner tonight. He had a dinner date sunday but after yesterday attacking hubby and me his date moved up in a hurry. Of course hubby's son and wife had to leave in a hurry because their kids might be scarred for life..But my 2 kids wanted to watch and see how it was done. My son wanted to have feathers for a collection he's doing so gave him a wing and told him to go ahead and pull what he wanted. Today my kids were happy that they could go into the chicken pen and just sit and be with the chickens. They loved it. Only nice chickens in there. And 3 roosters of a friends that we are watching. hers are black copper marans. So have her roos and a her hens in there and everyone is getting along it's such a relief to me.

OK so we made it to Stevenson. All seems good. Weather today is AWESOME ! ! !!
This show is going to be bitter sweet for me. See it was one year ago that I started at this show ( with the encouragement of many of you. Now for the bitter. This will be the last show at Stevenson. I have had so much fun doing this show and From my view and MY opinion the crew have done a good job of putting this on. This is just MY OPINION based MY EXPERIENCES here. I just hope that wherever they move to is close enough for me and the rest of you to be able to continue to participate.
