I got a package from England yesterday, from a friend who saw this mug and decided I needed it, so of course I had to get all artsy again:

The potter is Emma Bridgewater; her various hens at her site; some are also on Amazon.com, I see.

Almost all my non-local friends are a result of being online forever (well, since 1991). I met Katie when she started dating Steven whose brother Peter used to be the Administrator of the AOL garden boards, which is also where I met hallerlake among others.

Oh my gosh, I use to be with AOL in like 92 or 93.

I hope everyone has a nice day today or has a great weekend. Im going to build myself a couple little coops. Its time to show the husband up ( well he's a much better builder that I am, in the army he was a draftsman) but Im going to start

Im sure once my back goes out he'll finish it for me.. I hope. and no I sure hope it doesnt go out.

My husband is getting practice. Replacing a pump house shed at our cabin. He should be experienced when he starts on our coop in a few weeks!

Ok so update on Little miss Emily.

I will be admitted to the birthing center Tuesday morning. So I at least know that she will be here within 5 days! Yeay! Im so sick of being prego! lol cant wait to get back to work and get my property taken care of again! My yard is a jungle! grass is over a foot high, and I cant get my DH off his video games to mow it back! Grr... Silly man!

Several folks here have the breeds you mention, so they may have pullets available.
