Thanks so much- this was good for me to see. I like your set up- it looks very nice and not weedy

I think I just needed a little encouragement. We have lots of weeds, in E.WA we worked hard to get things to grow and here, well, it is a jungle! Our lot was overplanted for many years! My husband and I have been imagining all the places the could be moved around to in our yard!

And thanks for the info on the show in Ridgefield. We probably won't make it, since we will be just back from Kennewick, and my 3yr old and 1 yr old will be exhausted from playing with Grandma and Grandpa!

Wow, now that #1 is dryer, I can't help but notice how beautifully feathered it's feet are! OOOHHH!

Oh, and # 2 is here! This one's feet are not as feathered as the first, but is still nice.

Thank you Nivtup!

I'm on 149th Avenue NE. About 5 minutes or less from the Co-Op at 84th & Hwy 92. I think I sent you a PM a few months back asking what you have and whether you go to the Cascade Show.

God Bless,

God Bless,

Well...you are like 5 minutes from me...I live up on Menzel Lake Road...before you go to the dump. Big ol stone brick house..built in 1910. I'm sorry I don't recall getting a PM...that doesn't mean I didn't..lol...Now is the Cascade show over? Is the next one in Monroe? Funny your quest is for the blue egg chicken...I had one until this fall...she was nine years old and laid the biggest blue double yolkers! I'm talking baseball size! Let me know if you ever find them ok? Or I can definitely let you know if I do.

No, the Cascade Show is not over. It is in Monroe. Still waiting on the dates but it's either March or April.

I'm not looking for blue egg layers as WBS Ameraucanas is one breed I raise, breed, & show.

God Bless,

Wow, lots of Washingtonians! Hey everyone, I live in Blaine, N of Bellingham, right on the Candaian Border. Will any of you have chickens for sale in the next few months? Also, in June we're going down to the Mexican border to pick up some goats from our business partners down in campo and are offering animal hauling for cheap/trade/barter/neotiable :p keep that in mind if you need anything from Oregon or California brought up thie way or anything taken down that way

I should have chicks/started chicks for sale in June. Ameraucanas, Welsummers, and maybe some Easter Eggers.

Also, I was contacted today by a lady in CA wanting some of my Ameraucana chicks. I told her I'm not sure if I'm gonna get around to shipping chicks this year or not and will let her know in April if I do. Perhaps you could do her a favor and take come chicks down with you. I'll find out where in CA she lives and get back with you if it works out.

God Bless,

Yes, you both must meet us on I-5 (she might need to rehimburse you for gas?). I think he could do that for her if she can meet him somewhere convienient, I can't imagine charging more the $5 to do it unless he his to go out of his way- how many chick? IE how much room will they take up?

DH bought me a new Sportsman for Valentine's Day,

so I'm going to be hatching a lot this spring to break her in. Should have extra chicks available for pick up in the Portland/Vancouver area over the next few months. PM me if you're interested, and I'll let you know what I have when I have them.
