That front wall is so tall, you could even mount the broody pens on the wall, and have a double-decker coop! That's so cool!
Or paint it gloss white and use it as a projection screen for outside movie watching! (or as the boys said - Xbox ! )

Quote: Not very long. Look at my run area! But that's why I let mine out into the yard as much as I can. Not everyone can have an acre of fenced run area like you Ron!
I wonder if you could put wheels on it and move it with a few people?![]()

The plan is to use as a grow out or rotational pen. And yes this one doesn't have the wheels I plan to put on mine. And since I have been offered a few more trampolines I am thinking of using just the fabric to put over my runs in summer for shade.
Quote: They are articles now.
You can find them in your profile, it takes a little doing. Unclick all the green buttons except articles to search for it. About 1/2 way down the page.
You can link to them using the "my coop" field in your profile. Like I did

Do you think you have to be a gold feather member? I couln't find it anywhere after clicking off the green buttons.
I don't think so.
I can get to your page, but can't add it to your community profile.
Here's the link to your pages
https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/kmhunters-chicken-coop
Highlight & copy the link,
go into your profile,
click on edit community profile,
scroll to the bottom,
to the coop field box(it's the last one)
Paste it in and it will show up under your avatar/name.
Russ
Thanks for the link, it helped me find mine. Now to put some in it.

Okay, "quote" is not working for me:
CR: LOL. All my birds are small and spindly you wouldn't want them.
Nature: I built a bucket with nipples...I can't get the birds to use it. Course I still have their bucket of water to dip from. I dont' want to take it away from them. How do you teach them? I tried to hang something shiney off of it so they would go for it...but NO. Still nothing.
Quote: Oh Ok. So if I know what the user name is I can look for articles from them? No more member pages where you can look at all the members and their BYC page? That kind of sucks. But I did just look up somone and when it gave me a post I could then follow them. I think I can look up that member more easily now. Thanks! I don't feel as stupid now. I like having my coop page there again though, thanks! I need to do some updating with new pics I guess, because there have been some changes made.
It looks like the Learning Center Tab between the tab Home and the tab Forum will get you there very quickly.
Now THAT (movies, not X-box, though I'm sure DH and kids will disagree) is a realy cool idea!Or paint it gloss white and use it as a projection screen for outside movie watching! (or as the boys said - Xbox ! )
OH thank you 4312! It makes more sense now. Great explanation.I don't know if that is what they are really called - just what I call them. I sometimes order eggs and they can be expensive and I want the best hatch rate I can get and I don't want any accidents or other hens laying more eggs in the nest or trying and breaking the eggs I put under her. If I get a broody hen I will lock her up in a pen or separate cage and put the eggs I want under her. then when she has hatched I let her stay separated as I want to make sure no one is hurt or gets killed by another hen. Just a separate place for her to hatch her eggs where she will not be bothered by the rest of the pen.
