Well..back to work for me.
Hopefully I do not have another 10 pages to catch up on next time I get a chance to visit here !
I have a cornball tractor to clean.
Just moved them to a new patch of grass.
Funny seeing the bald square where they used to be !

Got the estimate for the loft floor & 3/4" CDX decking....$1200.00............so have to save a while more before I can get it...darn it.
Once we get it, we can untarp & GO UP with walls, ceiling & deck the upper floor & tarp again if need be...like it may keep raining ALL SUMMER !!!!!!!!!

I would just make a simple ramp with cleats. worked like a charm for me. just a thought
RareFeathersFarm makes her ramps with astro turf stapled to it, she says it not only gives traction but cleans their feet off also.
You can usually buy a strip a foot or two at some bigger hardware stores like Home Depot.
Avoid looped type...as toes can get catch in it.
You'd just want to get the kind that looks like stiff grass.

3 of my chickens just jumped up and grabbed a cookie out of my hand and ran away with it! Lesson learned: Chickens are people too and need treats

I cut off a piece of summer sausage from our loaf in the fridge and brought it out to them. One by one they are stealing it and running ALL over the yard chasing each other. Nothing like a little fun and exercise huh?

Yes it was a good trip and we adopted a a couple riders to the crazyness !

The pic doesn't really show it but the pink is VERY bright! Those who have seen it can tell.
Glad you had fun.

That pink looks pretty bright here, who knew there was highway safe pink in addition to orange?!

My Mother's Day hatch babies are 4 weeks old as of yesterday. I am loving my little birds! My 4 English Orps are also adorable and friendly. We have one boy who would rather just perch on your shoulder all day. I can see that being awkward in a few months.
Wow Dana, these are really beautiful Seramas! It will be interesting to see how they feather out, but they're very attractive now. You can tell king cockerel is the boss, what a proud stance!
