So I have another question, anyone who can help please do! Princess isn't eating. She's a bit dull today and IS drinking water, but isn't eating at all. She took a very nice long dust bath this afternoon in the sun and seemed happy but when I picked her up tonight she felt lighter to me and had nothing in her crop. Everyone else has full crops and marched off to bed. What do I do? How do I encourage her to eat? Could the big birds be starving her? I have a separate feed trough (a chick one, full to the brim) in the coop in case they chase her away from the large feeder in the run, but she hasn't touched it. She's still walking around but whenever I try to give her anything, including meal worms, she just turns up her nose. Help! Her poops are normal.

She is turning down meal worms? Maybe you could try scrambling her an egg, or give her some yogurt? Hope someone comes along that knows more than I do soon!

Yes! I couldn't believe she didn't want that treat. I think I will scramble her an egg and bring her in the house for it. There's no more squabbling in the coop right now so it seems they've all found their positions for the night. Perfect time to grab her. No yogurt here, but I can pick some up in the morning. I just don't want her to get sick! Poor homesick baby

I just passed my 10 year reunion last year...didn't go. I hated high school and really don't care much what happened to all those people who treated me so badly. Maybe I'm wrong but oh well.
Several years ago the person who bought our old home got my number from a neighbor and called me to say that she had a very important piece of mail for me. She forwarded it - it was an invitation for my 25 year HS reunion. I think that was the first time I really faced the fact that I am not young anymore. I wonder at what age that happens. I'm looking down at the new PJ's I just bought - a bright, floral mumu style thing. I'm definately no longer young. A few years ago I would not have been caught dead in in, and now I think, ahhh, soft and comfy.

I would guess she has an impacted crop. I don't know how to check. I had a buff orpington do that last year. I thought she may be egg bound because she had not laid in a while and her abdomen felt full and swollen. I put her in the sink to bathe her, she panicked and died. I hope you have much better luck.
