Maybe I should just dig a hole, line it and fill it with rocks and pea gravel and surround it all with bog plants. Maybe I can find some that the chickens won't eat.
We have a pond. We lined it with a "clay" type liner, that is semi-permeable. I don't know how big your pond is, but we have some liner left (free) if you are interested.

I painted my toenails orange today and then put on my flip flops and went out into the yard. All my chickens ran over and attacked my toes!
They have never done this with any other color.

I have not been here in a whlile - busy putting in a foundation for a green house and digging a trench along the side of what used to be my lawn to try and drain it. Greenhouse came out great - my lot is sloped so we had a bit of digging to do to get it right. Drainage ditch looks okay, keeps the mud off my path to the chicken coop, but the former lawn is still a smelly swampy mess. I think I am going to turn it ont a pond. Will that be okay wih chickens roaming around it?
They thinks it is CORN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe paint them yellow on the tips, and orange at the nail bed to look like candy corn !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got muck boots with polka dots all over in every color...and the chookies attack my dots !

So I'm seeing that water coming out of rear ends of chickens could be a sign of worms. I don't see worms in poop ever, but I want to help my GLW with water explosions coming from her rear. Should I get Eprinex and treat the whole flock now, and again in 2 weeks? What's my best option? I'm still doing the bleach solution in their water. Should I take that out and just do ACV to help balance them out?

Oh my goodness... my little Drama reeks so bad tonight!  I could smell her halfway across the yard.  I don't have any pet shampoo... does it have to be a special shampoo?  If I'm going to buy something, I want to buy the right thing.

I'm bumping this question.  A little stinky girl needs a bath.  I read that soap is toxic to chickens, so I don't want to buy something dangerous for her.

baby shampoo or dawn is what I hear is used...
just not on ducks.. :)
