As far as I know it's safe for both dogs and chickens to eat the poo that they do. It does gross me out, but I don't freak out over it. I have simply gotten very good at not letting any of them kiss though.![]()

My bet is that home sickness went away quick!

Is this normal? It seems strange to me but this is my first chicken family. Not surprisingly I am not having much luck finding anything on this topic. Any tips? Ignore it? Isolate Slim? Get more chickens? (Oh no! Not that!)![]()
TIA
I did the hot water dip and peeled them than yes froze them on a tray and into a plastic bag..Is there a process to freeze tomatoes? I've never heard of frozen tomatoes! Do you have to peel them or anything? Do you have to freeze them like berries (spread out on a tray until frozen, then bagged)?
I know for sure its the seeds that have it in them not sure about the rest of the plant..Are they just eating the leaves? Maybe it's the flowers that have the digitalis in them. Or, maybe digitalis doesn't affect chickens.....

It is not currently on the *state* noxious weed list.Just another comment on Foxglove... in Washington, it is considered a noxious weed and is supposed to be destroyed. I know... it's pretty, but, I'm sure the state has it's reasons for classifying it as such.
