Guess I only found the bunny and "poultry" barn which was mostly filled with bunnies and guinea pigs. You missed it. It was right next to the 4H Horses (to the right of it). There were hundreds of chickens there! Bummer you didn't find it!

Quote: The curved corners and where the fence meets the house have small gaps. But it doesn't matter too much about keeping animals out. They'll just climb right over anyways. I found several years ago, the chickens deciding the grass is greener in the front yard.
Now on the run, I have found possums helping themselves to a layena snack.

Because if so, I plan to keep my gun on top of the refrigerator in case of any incidents.
Something to consider.....................
No matter how educated you feel your kids are about guns my suggestion is to buy a gun box.
They have a few digits you preset.
Just like a key box but much faster and the lid flips open for quick access.
Takes two seconds to have access to your gun and you can have that box anywhere you want for quick access.
If the kids don't know the numbers they can't get to it.
A gun not loaded due to kids is a worthless gun.
A gun safe box solves that problem.

And back atcha even though by the time ya caught up to that point. I was done with my latest chicken rustleing and already had half a day in!!!Morning CR! Morning Dawn! Morning Kim!
I know this is a long shot but.... Contact Salmon Creek meats in Salkum/Mossyrock. Her family were the owners of TMM and she may be able to put you in touch with the guy who bought them out.I've asked this before but I have 2 extra geese, haven't been able to sell them on CL and the Tacoma Meat Market has closed. Does anyone know where I can get geese processed in the Tacoma area? Flock dynamics were better with 3 geese than 5.
I need help...my girls are not cooperating!! Hahaha, like that's news, right?! Lol
I have 5 LF hens that are all of egg laying age. Some are laying, some maybe are not?? I'm not really sure how many are actually laying because my girls treat the nesting boxes like they have the plague! I have 1 hen that will lay in the boxes if they are locked in the chicken house 24/7 for a few days in a row but as soon as they are let out she forgets all about the box. The other eggs will be laid on the floor if they are even laid at all. Other then that, they lay out in the chicken yard under blackberry bushes and stinging neetles...boy oh boy it's fun to get eggs outta those nests!Stinging neetles are not called "stinging" for kicks n giggles let me tell ya!![]()
I have tried some of the tricks I've heard about to encourage them to lay in the boxes, like placing golf balls in the boxes, locking them in the chicken house, putting one of their eggs in the box, setting the hens in the boxes, trying different types of bedding......nope, not workin!
Any other ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated!!
