You are wonderful to take him in...and did GF ever see that vechicle at that address ?
Too bad that the humane society will probably have to put him down as not too many people want the issues associated with the geriatric animal of any kind.
Usually those lumps found mostly on chocolate labs, not on yellow or black labs for some reason are fibroid tumors and not cancerous, although sometimes they can turn cancerous but I understood that was rare...we had 3 yellows, 3 blacks (the last was my Samantha) and 2 chocolates, and the chocos get those lumps.
Poor old guy !
For being out in the sticks, you sure have alot of excitement over there !
There was no car in the garage or driveway at his address... The humane society was just here. He does not have a chip, but is licensed, so They will hold him for 30 days I believe, before they will put him down. I took photos, and all his information down, and will post locally that he was found and is now at the shelter. Honestly, I would rather him go to the humane society, and be put down by them, than to iether get torn up by local wildlife "We have alot of large predators in my area." or get hit by a car.
HA! Speaking of excitement! As the humane society was pulling out of my driveway, we heard a HUGE crash up the road... My brother "volunteer firefighter" hopped in his car to check it out. Turns out the crash we heard was a dump truck loosing its breaks coming down the big hill. He turned sharp to miss the house and the truck landed on the pasengers side... Both pasenger and driver are ok and got out under their own power... I'm sure they will be hurting, and the driver looked to be in shock. I will post pictures soon...
Wow What an exciting morning!
The excitement never ends at your house !
