I am so happy for you Chickielady. I am going to go and earmark the link you sent. I am on a well. Might be a good idea for me to do to. Everyone in my yard is doing well and happy. They get let out daily so they can go and poop on my porch and summer chairs, tear up the part of my vegetable garden they can get in and rest under the Japanese Maple.

Thank you for the information.

Well I got my honey bottled last night. Only got 14 1lb bottles, 3 pint jars and one honey bear. There might be a slight chance somebody munched some

http://www.shagbarkbantams.com/oxine.htm I am going to look into this product more, verses Chlorinating our water.
It seems to be highly recommended by quite a few people, and web sites...I have also read that 7 drops of this product in a gallon of drinking water will take care of infectious coryza, so it bears enough merit to deserve further research, anything but antibiotics that can 1) suppress the bird's own immunal system, which leaves them defenseless for a few days once the antibiotic is removed leading to relaspe or additional oppurtunistic infections...and
2) the cost is astronomical for antibiotics and
3) most are super hard to find and...
4) most do not work as the pathogens have grown resiliant to almost all antibiotics.
Thos are called "superbigs" scarey !!!

do we have fisherman spiders around here?? I saw the biggest spider I've ever seen today IN MY HOUSE! I screamed like a little girl. Worse, it went under my bed and I can't find it. I bet it's 3-4 inches in diameter...

Though in the spring! My Husband agreed to me getting Ameraucanas, as long as I get him a Wheaton roo. lol He says no on a Blue Weaton, say's that he prefers the black over the blue.

To each their own. So what we are discussing is bringing home; 1 Wheaton roo, 2 Wheaton hens, 1 Blue hen, and 1 black hen. What I want to do is to try showing locally next year.
