Jenns where are ya gettin snow. We had a couple of shots of hail today but they say we could get a little snow tonight. I doubt it we are only @ 350' here in the swamp. I am so ready for some dry weather for a while I have a lot of garden stuff I want to get in the ground but can't go out in the rain cause I know if I get my candy a** wet my leggs will fall off.

I'm hoping to be ready to add some more eggs to my bator in 2-3 days. Anyone close to Gold Bar or Everett willing to sell me some eggs? I don't want any aggressive breeds (I've got Polish chicks). If I do get an aggressive bird I will eat it, already got 4 that are going to be on the table when they get big enough. I'd like to have a few dark layers and maybe some that will or have a good chance to give me some speckled eggs.

You are all lucky, at 5 this morning went out to milk the girls and it was snowing in 35 min the ground was white and it snowed until about 10, than the rain now its not doing anything.
I have to say even the kids on my bus ( Im a school bus driver) are over the snow and want the sun.

I just have to annouce that my chicks are hatching!!!!! One is out, yeah I helped, I couldn't help myself, lol. One more is peeping inside and rolling it's egg around. The last one (only 3 eggs) has been rolling around but I haven't heard any noise.

Hey Herbandtea, Technically I'm in P.O. but truthfully I'm about half a mile from the main entrence to Banner Forest. So really its Ollalla. THe EE's sold out in two hours the day we went to Dell. So it was just RIRs. Then my girls spent their allowance on chicks. So we picked up some BR, SLW, GLW, and an Australorp. Next time I'll get some EEs. just need to wear down the DH some more.

Laura! I'm jealous of your hatching! I bought an incubator a few weeks ago for my oldest DD's birthday, which is not until the middle of JULY!!! I'm dying knowing it is in the house and I can't use it!!!
