My DH has been out of work for more than 6 months but the employment office keeps sending notices saying they are extending it. He is a drywall taper kind of sucks there is no work but at least he gets money still. I work in retail still have my job but I have been with Fred Meyer for 15 yrs......I guess they like me.

Well, I am looking up. Everyone seems to back to talking, and my PM isn't full of "Keep your sorry behind home on Feb 28th" mail. So I guess I am still invited. Whew! Didn't know what I was gonna do with myself that night, but I had a feeling I might be hitting all the farms just before Rob and Ron got there. Boy wouldn't they be surprised when there weren't any more chickens to be had in all of Seattle (You all know that to us from the sticks, that means anyplace within a 50 mile radius, right?)

Off to bed. Good night.

Only 7 for 12 tonight. Ron, is that your fault?

I figured that I didn't need to say anything yesterday.

That was a lot of chicken poop flying around.

I real happy that the party is still on, so I get to wear best evening gown and tiara. That and I like to make Baklava.

well, I had a baby one die in the night. Don't know if anyone saw my post yesterday about another hen getting in the nest and attacking a peeping egg... anyway, it finished the hatch in the house and seemed to be alright, but when I got up this morning, it was dead. Looks like a little silver-laced wyandotte :*(

On the bright side, I have one starting to zip out there

No sign of life yet from the other 4 eggs...

Ron did ya see that did ya did ya. Weave is so nice she is offering to make the rounds and take all the chickens to her place. Then all we gotta do is make one stop and take our choice of all that there is.

its been a while since i have been on but i saw the funniest episode of dirty jobs tuesday.

mike rowe was wearing tennis shoes.

he had a net
he was in miami
and he was chasing chickens!!!!!

it was soooo funny.... those chickens run alot faster and fly better than mine do.

you got to see the part where he catches a chick. that was the funniest part.....

OK guy's you can go, but I'm driving. You two seem a little eggcited, and I don't want you getting in trouble before the party. It would be sad if we had to change the venue to some kind of police station waiting room.

But it might cost less......... (for the rest of us)
