Man if ya miss a day on this page, Your 6 or 7 pages behind. I have to make this short. My wife is hounding me to go meet the kids for coffee

So heres a couple things

(1)

to all you NEW people, Please don't think you are being ignore or left out . Everybody is welcome to come to the party. The more the merry

the party is potluck style. so we ask that you would bring something. There will be two microwaves BUT NO oven or stove at the party.
if we get ALL of our deposit back, we will be CLOSE to paying for the center. We can put a can out at the door and if anyone wants to throw in $5 or $10 that would be
great But not necessary. Kim and I have it covered Kim is in California and will be home on Monday I think.

(2) the Party is NOT in downtown Juanita or on the main drag. It is NORTH of there. Off of I-405 you take exit # 20 and go WEST.


I WILL POST DIRECTIONS EITHER TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY NIGHT ON HERE AND WILL HAVE THE ADDRESS OF THE JUANITA COMM. CENTER


I think it starts at 11 or noon I will be there by 10:00am I will post my cell phone # for those who need to call if they are lost

sorry to say we are stuck getting them from a hatchery (MPC via Myers hatchery I think)...we looked and looked for a breeder but faverolles are hard to find. so hopefully the future will bring new connections. if you know anyone PLEASE let me know!

not a whole lot of talk about the difference between hatchery birds and breeder bred chickens, but i am convinced that some of the traits most desirable for a small flock owner are not necessarily the same traits a hatchery wants in their "product".

although we are planning on just keeping pullets, i am hoping for a mistake...hopefully a quiet gentle mistake...i hear the faverolle roosters can be super nice birds.

2 days to hatching

8 days to the BIG chicken strutt.

It just dawned on me didn't Weave have a mud wrestling match scheduled with (I think ) Ron at the party? That's why seh ain't gonna be there she's afraid of gettin whooped !!!!!

It's time it's time. Checked the LG at 6:30 this am and my silky woody egg has piped.

Quick gotta boil water, get cigars and lets see now what else am I supposed to do?

Does breeding a rabbit count? I am pretty sure she is going to have kits March 20th!

PROGRESS REPORT Came in to do DW's lunch. Checked bator and we have another pip in the first egg and another egg has one pip in it!! Donning party hats and noise makers.

Yep..... The theif has guessed it in one. I am petrified of the mud wrestling bout with Ron...... Not for the reason you might think.... I have heard that Ron intends to wear his speedo as planned, but go au naturale during the wrestling match

......That was simply more than I could take. So I am off to sunny AZ instead.

I must admit, as much as I am sad to miss the party I am needing an infusion of sunshine pretty badly right now.

My nerves about the chicken battle are getting the better of me and I am feeling the effects.

I just hope that the change of weather and landscape will calm me down a bit. I am really gonna miss my feathered buddies.

But I haven't been able to do what I would normally do during the day with them anyway. I can't wait until this is over. And hopefully I will be able to get back to spending time with them and feeling better.

I sure wish some of you could go with me to entertain me. Plenty of room around the pool.... But only if you agree to bring and wear your suit (RONNIE ROO, that's for you!).

I have come close to a perfect egg day 2 days in a row.... But today the count looks like it is down. Maybe they will wait until I get back.

I have two guinea hens available if anyone is interested. I have 4 total so I need to let these two go. Let me know if anyone wants one. Anyone know where I can get some turkin hens? My son really wants two. Let me know if anyone as any.
