I went back on Craigslist to try and find some of the missing dogs in Forks that I have seen, finally found some, it is really disturbing !

All of you out there, look these up !
I do not know much about Forks, but I do know it is a small community, and if some fruitcake is stealing and torturing dogs, you could be next !
Take care !
Someone tell Illia~

I also have a question:
On hatching eggs that were shipped, and some were tossed at day 15 that were stinking and mixed up inside, probably from shipping.
The rest looked OK to my imexperienced eyes...large air sack, the rest of the interior appeared dark, stopped turning then, raised temp a bit and humidity, everything perfect, but the humidity has been high all along probably due to all this d**n rain !
Most of the time it was about 60-70%....and I have raised it to 80-90% now in the last 5 days.
They were to hatch yesterday, nothing has happened.
I feel like doom is to happen, I am so worried they are all dead...

Has anyone ever had a problem with high humidity ????

WHOA your lockdown humidity was high. . . I never raise mine above 67% on the last three days, otherwise they will drown. . . Which I thinks yours did, sorry.

60-70 percent on the first 18 days is okay I may think, but I always do mine around 45-55%

To solve high humidity, I only add a tiny amount of water. Very tiny - Then watch the humidity. I keep adding the tiniest amount, maybe a couple CCs (I add it with a syringe) until I get the proper amount.

wow, seen the weather forecast ?????????????
partly cloudy and zero rain Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and Monday it is supposed to be 60 !!!!

I would not hold my breath, I have 3 loads of clothes to wash and hang on the line, do not know if I trust this weather at all !!!
It is non stop hail storms here in Raymond so far this morning and so cold !
Chickens do not know what to think about hail !

Illia I have wondered if they were drowning from the very start, and I too think that is the problem.
This is day 22, so how long should I waite before I throw these eggs out, and start over ?
Next time, I will do the tiny amount thing too.

If you've never heard peeping or seen movement - Candle them. If you see no movement, chuck them. If it looks like the chick is still sort of "suspended in liquid" - chuck them.

Last time I waited until late day 21 with a couple eggs, had NO activity going on. . . So I opened them and found all the chicks were dead and still had their yolks hanging on.

Could be worse, I woke up to snow this morning! Everything was covered in white...my tulips, my plum blossoms, my veggie starts.

Hopefully no damage is done. I am SO ready for sun!

Yep, I have a whole beautiful grove of plums blossoming, plus my peach is just trying to open its new pink flowers. . . Come'on, guys and gals - You can make it through the darn hail and snow!!

redbuds and hibiscus (hedge). I'm going to have the redbuds along my driveway so they'll be pretty when you drive in... that is, IF I can get them planted
