If the straw was wet, and the Bantam was still setting, (so the eggs were warm), they should still be OK, maybe...as long as they did not get too cold.
Boy this weather is creating a daily hell for you, isn't it?

the brahma is fine it is in a dog house in a chicken tractor. only drawback with her was sometime this week she laid an egg and ate one of the incubated ones... so i have 1 ee egg left out of 2 i put under her the rest of the egg are more mutts but the 2 were blue and green

when i took the eggs out of the crate to dump the straw out and put dry in the eggs were not warm and were still wet on the sides..... there went 3 weeks of hard work for a bantm and bantm eggs...

Has anyone said anything about the sex yet of the chicken? Maybe on the Ameracuana thread someone would know. Oh its killing me, just like waiting for a hatch. LOL

Chickielady
I hope you did wait to help the chicks out, I try to wait at least 12 hours before I look closer its hard to wait.. So how are they doing now?

ReiMiraa
Sorry to hear about your eggs, Id let her keep them just maybe your get a few from the hatch you never know. I have the one incubator go down with like 60 eggs in it and they did pretty good for what they went through. Let us all know what happens.

I don't think I had a good enough pic for anyone to tell on the sex of that one. I've got 4, though. LOL Only need 1/2 to be boys for you to get one

I do have 2 smaller chicks (3 weeks...or is it 4 now?) that are olive eggers hatched from Wynette (1/2 FBCM x americauna/penedesenca) One of those could end up a boy also. They're both blue.

' I don't have hours everyday to catch up on here anymore!

My babies are growing growing growing! I love how much the need me!! I have to be really quiet in the morning before my girls get up because if the ducklings know I'm awake they think that I must come hold and love on them! They get VERY verbal if they think that I am preoccupied with something other than them!! Spoiled little brats!! LOL! '

I so wish the weather would get nicer! I want to get some pictures of them in the grass before they are not babies anymore!!!
