okay..so it's not a spider... but it is still so goosebump inducing to look at. it has 8 legs.. *shiver*.. I don't like spiders AT ALL. sorry. I tried to convince myself to go look at the pictures you all were talking about and I just couldn't!

Cindy..this is what I did, and someone correct me if I am wrong, if there is a shorter way to do this..
once it's uploaded onto your BYC uploads page, click on the image to open it into a new window (it should now be tiny),
right click and 'Save As' to your preferred destination folder (I have a folder in my 'pictures' - not iPhoto - that I named 'resized pictures') It is now resized properly for you to use as an avatar, provided when you uploaded it to BYC you chose that option?
So, when you go to upload your avatar on your profile settings, you can go to your destination folder where you saved your resized picture and choose it.. does that make sense??? craig said he will help you too.
