yes, tell me when to meet her that week, and Monicas said she was getting chicks from BYF, so I have to pick them all up at the same time at her workplace.
Got my girls out loose so cannot sit here long...

the pullet pullet, notice the upright tail
50801_doe_005.jpg

the questionable pullet which has to be a pullet but just has not grown any upright tail feathers yet ?
Crummy picture, missed the comb, which is paler than the other...weird.
Gotta be a pullet.

and in response to all of you that are having weird pain, I strongly urge you to go wheat (gluten) free for a week or two and see how you feel.
It will not kill you to eat the lunch meat and cheese and lettuce and not the bread.
No beer, no msg, read all labels, everything that has thickener or "modified food starch" cab wheat...sald dressings and soups and all thickened and breaded stuff.
Buy some gluten free foods to last a week or so, Bob's red mill and health food stores as well as "Gluten free Joes" are great places.
Bet you feel waaaay better !!!!
Bet ya !

I am fat enough that I do not need the empty wheaty carbs anyway,
And I feel so much better !

FYI...Fibromyalgia does not cause a rash, only the immunal system activated, can cause a rash.
It is your attack cells, T-cells, warrior cells, that attack whatever is irritating them.
Can cause a sore throat, and all sorts of pain all over.
These cells actually eat 'us' up...tearing the lining off the intestines, the pericardiam, the skin.
Those blisters filled with clear fluid are your protector cells attacking something.
In my case, they can merely attack cold, or a tickle, or heat.
Check it out Justbugged !
I have had yet again an accidental dose of wheat gluten in corn tortillas last week, and now I know why I am hurting.
The muscle pain and gut pain are awful !!!!
All of you go to your library and get a copy of "The Gluten Free Girl"
She has a website too.
And a restaurant in Seattle.

Totally agree with Chickielady on the diet change!

I suffered through many awful doctors and misdiagnosis before getting a good team of docs.

Fred Meyers has a really great health food section! I can shop for the whole family in one place! I have to do NO dairy, NO gluten, NO red meat.

It's amazing how much better you will feel! My daughters are even getting on the band wagon even though they do not have the issues I do. IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE!!!

Another really great book is "The Maker's Diet". AWESOME!

i will have to look into a diet change... you really think that going gluten free, i'd be likely to see a difference in as little as a couple weeks????? funny that you guys say so - the only doc along the line to suggest a diet change (because, of course, i don't "test postive" for celiac disease) was a neurologist who i had to go see post-mri of my head. YES, the good news is, i DO have a brain! woot!!!

anyway, he just kind of mumbled about it as he was walking me out - after yet another "nope, nothing wrong inside your head, thank you for playing. drive thru." appointment.

i'll go shopping this week! i love trader joe's... and we have a lovely fred meyer marketplace in t-town that has a nice health food section. and of course, metropolitan market (but $$$$$).

thanks y'all.

I haven't gone gluten free, wheat free or dairy free but I do mill all of my own flour and bake all of our baked goods. I have found that if I soak the flour or sprout it before milling it I do better. I also ferment our oatmeal overnight and it's not only fast but sticks with us longer. I do know that diet plays a huge part in how we feel so I try to eat the things I know are nice to me and avoid those that aren't. And even though we do eat grains we try to keep them to more of a minimum rather than the bulk of the diet. I make my own kefir and kombucha too and those both help me. In fact, when I haven't been drinking kombucha my family notices. I made homemade sauerkraut the other day and we all found that to be pretty tasty even though we all claim we don't like sauerkraut!
