Wish me luck....my boss and I are having a meeting this morning at 10:30...about a co-worker who's really mean, controlling and rude to me. She is just not a fun person to be around....the worst part--she's going to be in the meeting too! I'm such a passive person (she's an "A" type)...I couldn't sleep all night, worrying about this!!!

Welcome Holly!!

Is Fred behaving himself?

Lyn

Hi Lyn!
Yes, Fred is fantastic, he is more worried about his food than anything! He hardly crows and has stopped his womanizing (wink wink).
I think he has gotten bigger since he left your place :) He sleeps ON TOP of the 2 barnevelders in the nesting boxes, as a matter of fact they ALL sleep in the nesting boxes...... So when are you going to part with a light sussex hen for him LOL!!!!!

Thank you again for allowing Fred to join my family!

Ha, good old Fred. What a love. I got eggies due to hatch on Saturday. Maybe in a few months I can get a pullet to you once I know the sex if you can wait that long.

Its gonna be a busy day here on my micro farm... Have to get my house cleaned up before 3:30PM. I have to bake a cake, wrap gifts, take care of the critters, go back to work, come home and get myself cleaned up and ready for guests who will be here at 5PM.... The occasion? It's my Daughters 2nd Birthday! My other half just called from work just to sing her the "happy birthday" song! It was cute! He was trying to not have anyone hear him sing. Cause he can't carry a tune if his life depended on it. But he gets an A for the thought and effort! We were going to have a friends and family party for her, but I decided to do my best to keep it small. I mean, she is ONLY two! Last year my family made such a HUGE deal out of her birthday, that I had 30 people in my tiny little house! That is just WAY to many people to have in my personal living space...

Have a great day everyone! I'm off to bust my butt and get things done, so I'm not in a huge hurry later!

Sure I can wait! And I'm still thinking about your cute little ones with the fluffy feet too :)

Do sell fertile eggs?

the lavs are about 3 months and four months old. Got some from pips and peeps and some from backyard farm. I also have a lot of lavX 4 month olds from pips and peeps to ge the size up. this is going to take some effort but if you don't mind the birds being between bantam and LF size I'll be selling off the smallest ones. I know I have several roos in both lav and lavX.
