Is it a pipe welded shut ?
Gotta get it cut off and send a pipe+pump on the end down and see.
If it is screwed shut as in iron threaded pipe, get someone to unscrew it or cut it off !
How cool for you!
Be advised, it may be an old septic too...

Ok, so we still have no idea what caused Chloe's hives... They spread over her entire body, up to her face. So off to the ER we went. All they could say was that it is an allergic reaction to something. Gave her benadryl, and a mild steroid... Hopefully this will clear up, and I can figure out what is causing her hives.

I do have to say though... That was the quikest ER trip I have ever experienced. We were in and out of there in under 30 minutes. I was shocked...

I sincerly hope everyone has had a better night than I have.

Cheryl, write down everything she ate !!!
Anything new ?
Avoid whatever it was and remember the big 8 allergy foods..see if I can remember them..
1)shellfish
2))fin fish
3)dairy
4)wheat (all grains with gluten like wheat, barely malt, some oats )
5)eggs
6)soy
OK there is a few more and I cannot remember them nor do I have time to google them...so you search the 8 big allergens...and see if she didn't just have some of them.
Even if she has had them before...it takes the body 2 or 3 times for the immunal system to "blue print" what it feels is offensive, most are proteins...and from that time on you have a serious allergy that can cause anaphylactic shock...get an ept pen like I carry with me.
It does not sound like a topical offender to me, sounds like she ate something and her body is reacting to it, and next time she may have a more serious reaction which can effect breathing and even cause death.

Nothing is welded. It's a six inch pipe going straight down.

The only thing new that she ate was walmarts off brand cheese puffs that my step dad bought her... She ate 4 or 5 puffs, then about an hour later is when she got the hives... Needless to say, the cheese puffs are no longer hers. I washed ALL of her new clothing, everything all the way down to her socks. I'm tempted to take the cover and pads off her new carseat to wash them as well.

I'm leaning more torward the puffs, but I am still not sure as she still has some hives. But then again, I have no idea how long they will take to clear up.

Its been a stressfull 24 hours, and now we are just trying to keep her comfortable.

That sounds right...maybe get something tie a string to it, and lower it down and see if it comes back wet...the other thing is talk into the pipe, a well will have a super cool echo...How awesome to find !!!

Usually, almost always, well heads are spot welded shut to keep objects from falling in...well heads are just not 'there'
But maybe it was capped and someone cut the cap off ?

Read the ingredients...it may not be the Cheese Puffs that are the offender, but an ingredient, which may be in alot of other foods...my point.
I am allergic to wheat, I have celiac disease.
My immunal system attacks my intestines to "kill" the wheat gluten, to put it simply...I have a heard time breathing, and it takes weeks for my body to heal from the attacks.
Usually the food is ingested 3 days before the first symptoms appear...so, she could have eaten something 3 days ago.
It is really hard to diagnose allergies, keep a record on paper of every thing she eats or drinks.
But it could very well be an ingredient in the cheese puffs.
Hope she is OK !!!

Thanks, I will keep keeping track of what she eats, and take it in to the Dr. when she has her appointment... For now I will let her sleep, and keep checking on her. She has one more dose of Benadryl tonight, and then I will rest a litle easier.
