Maby you'll eventually come around to my way of thinking. lol

They are cute, they are also a pain in the rear, and it is also illegal to trap and release... If you don't like the idea of shooting them, then maby you can figure out a deterent that actauuly works... And if/when you do, would you please share with the rest of us?

The deterent that I use on ALL, coons, dogs, birds and anything or anyone who needs a lesson, is an airssoft pellet gun, stings alot, but wont kill anything but small critters. Thats what we try first before resorting to an actuall shot being fired.

You bring new and old wounds to the front of my mind, an ache to my heart, and tears to my eyes... I'm sorry, I know how emotionally and phisically upsetting a miscarriage is. And I also understand the need to stay constantly busy, and positive...

It must be the extra stress of the times... As just over a month ago I lost number 10,

yes thats right, 10 miscarriages, and one beautiful, loving, happy, little love of a 2 year old monster.

Well no snow here, its beautiful and sunny, and OH so COLD!!! We have now reached 37 degrees here on my little farm.

And now discuaaions are going around about going out to Forks to pick up another rescue. But this one is 18months young, and would be my personal mount if I decide to add yet another 4 legged large addition to our home. I'm just not certain that I want to raise a filly again. BUT it would give me a great reason to see Illia!

I wish I lived closer. He is good looking.

Been wondering where you have been, having cruel weather ?

At the moment I am about 800 post behind. I have been real busy. About 2 weeks ago I started a new job in Topeka. Wedensday it was snowing here in Topeka (did not stick) and we have had a couple of frosty nights, but the weather here has been mild. I did bring our bell peppers plants, jalapeno pepper plants and one cherry tomato plant in the house at the begaining of the week. This weekend I will be setting up water heaters for the birds. It has only been down to 34 in the barn, lucky us.

Thanks for wondering.

Still dry though, but the weather service is calling for snow down to 500 feet. I doubt I will see it, as I am a whole whopping 30' above sea level. lol Oh and I am finally up to 39degrees.

I just now was able to post because, before this, I would just cry to think about. Well, I still cried reading your post. It happen often- in fact, in college I took a women's health & history class, which statistically noted that 1/3 of all pregnancies ended in miscarriage, the majority of those with the woman not even knowing she was pregnant (within the first few weeks).
Scientifically, I am aware that the fetus is lost due to its genetic malformation but it is hard to convince the heart of such things...

We seem to be designed to become attached very quickly when we learn that we are pregnant. As the pregnancy starts to progress we start to have hopes and dreams about what this child will become to each member of the family, and how it will change us. What will that child be like when it starts school for the first day, how will we feel as that child walks a cross a stage and graduates, their wedding day, and the birth of their first child. They died too soon, and so did all the possibilities that they held. These children are still missed, by their families. It is hard when the world around us doesn't value your child, and what it's loss means to you. There are a number of women on the board here that have had so many losses. I don't know of any words that make it better, but we do go on, even with broken hearts.

I want the 20 children that I know of, that are gone back. I would have wanted to meet them.

Well you cracked me up for this morning

Unfortunately, I don't think that a couple of miles away will be enough to prevent the varmint from coming back. I would keep a watch out for an avenging seriously cranky raccoon that looks like Rocky. I know it isn't easy but SSS is the safest way to go.

Yeah its stll fresh for me as well. Little things make me cry, wich in turn makes me feel weak. I guess we can't be strong ALL the time. But unfortunately in my case, its not always malformation of the fetus. I'm cursed with Polycistic Ovarian Disease, screws up everything, from horemones, to matabolism. Treatment is imposibly expensive without medical, and the cure is simple, remove EVERYTHING... And I am just not ready to have everything removed. Though not being in debilitating pain every month and not having to face anymore losses is starting to look more and more welcoming. But I am just not ready. To loose that small 3% chance of having another, just feels like giving up or surender. And I am not ready for that yet. I'm almost 29, still somewhat young, I just can't bring myself to do it yet. I'll reassess my situation and feelings in about 4-5 years, but I gotta hold onto that chance.

Sorry to anyone who is uncomfortable with this conversation. BUT it is a harsh reality for some, and all a part of life.
