Hi! I'm right in the town of tonasket, well its considered county, but pretty much right in town.
I think its technically the sunlight that affects the egg production. My chickens had been molting so my eggs were down drastically because of that. I have a hen who I wished had molted, but didn't, she looks all bare on her back (we had an over-achiever roo this last spring/summer and she was his favorite)

I tell her when I go get things or use any of her machinery. We are the type of neighbors that more people should be. we just do what ever we can to help each other out. Her mother is also my wifes care giver.

Those kind are the best neighbors. I am sure that you repay by helping or doing stuff for her all the time.
