Does anybody know what the big light green boxes by the power poles are? A guy came slipping down an icey side street the other day and i just missed him as he was tail spinning into the road I was on. As i passed I looked in my mirror and noticed he took out the box and a bunch of wired were exposed. The road I live on was just after that and I was worried i might have lost power or if it was a phone box maybe internet. All was well when I get home but called the phone company and the power company. Power Co said it could be a transformer. Anyway, It is still just the same as it was the other day. Np one has come to work on it. We don't have cable, only sattelite so it's not cable. Can't imagine them not getting to the box before the rain came and got the wires all wet. What else could it be? Thinking if it gets wet something is going to short out. Power Co has been very busy elswhere but they could at least stop by and put a tarp over it. Worried that if it is a transformer that my power will be going out very soon! Is there another company I'm not thinking of that it could belong to?

Mornin' everyone. The snow has all melted, the temps are up, and it has rained quite a lot last night.

Yay! Isn't it wonderful! I so got tired of carrying buckets of hot water down to everyone. Not just the chickens but horses too and they drink a lot.

I had to carry buckets to 4 different groups/flocks of chickens, 2 groups of goats, and a yak. Their waterers dried up FAST too.
