i sweent good before and that aint it. What got a hold of her head? Thats a lot of open skin. I dont think that chickens get a lot of infections but thats a candidate for it I think.

I emailed Rainwolf this morning and havent heard from her either, she must be busy, as we all get from time to time.

Whens a good time to meet? I am open during many day times as well.

BTW It is too late we already have the disease here. we usually have a couple every year on our place. I have also been told that it is SUPPOSEDLY related to the animal having worms and that if they could be wormed it would clear up.

Poor bird, poor rare feathers; that looks wicked! I hope she's not in pain. I hope she pulls through okay. Manuka honey makes a great antibiotic for deep wounds, but I don't know if it can be used on chickens. You can get it at health food stores.
