I told ya...you have an auto immune ""allergy""", is it wheat ?
It is starting to sound exactly like when I get wheat....weak, weak, colitis...gut wrenching, and alot of pnuemonia and flu symtoms which turned out to be MYSELF attacking MY LUNGS cus I was baking bread with WHEAT in it and snorted a wee bit of wheat flour up there...next thing I know my immunal system is burning the entire orafices of my face out....thought I had strept throat...wrong.
It was MY IMMUNAL SYSTEM ATTACKING ME, THERE WAS NO STREPT OR ANY OTHER BACTERIA.
I had a great time ...at the show, and I am going fishing for the next several days....
I am tired.
Maybe I did get some wheat.
It is like Kriptonite....a tiny SPECK that we cannot see, like someone cut a piece of wheat bread on a cutting board 2 days ago and washed the cutting board but there is still a speck...a molecule..and my immunal system attacks my entire digestive system.

During which time it is really hard to absorb anything, including my meds...thyroid and addison's~~~~

As rumors start to boil I must come in and assure everyone that...

Washington Feather Fanciers has never combined shows with the Pacific Northwest Poultry Association. As long as I have been involved with the club.

Washington Feather Fanicers is also not "planning" on combining or canceling any poultry shows.

Thanks everyone for attending the show, it was great meeting everyone.

The finals that I can remember off the top of my head are as follows.

Champion of Show was a White Aracauna Cock Bird by Steve Waters
Reserve Champion of Show was a Black Cochin Bantam by Joe Mazur

Reserve Champ Large Fowl was a Black Langshan Cock by Tony Albritton

Once I get a full report it will be put into our club newletter.

Join Washington Feather Fanicers to keep up on the shows and the news and happenings with Washington Feather Fanciers.

It is still wrapped up in a paper towel, in my dresser drawer.
I still do not know what it is.
I wish I could send the pictures of it to the Dept of Geology at WSU or someplace that studies fossils and weird rocks...anyone know of a place like that ?

I have a friend that's a rock hound, fossil junkie, and is an active member of the North America Research Group. If you want to email me pics, I can have him look at them!

Cool ! That will work great !
I need his addy.

Oh nuts! Really? Yes, I had several entries and was there Sat. and Sunday until about 1400 or so when I started home.

So help me out, which one were you? What did you bring to the show? Oh, I am soooooo bad with people and names!

God Bless,

God Bless,

How did your birds do? It's too far and the passes too scary for me...but I'm hoping to be at Monroe next spring--it just depends on who's molting and when....last spring almost everything was nasty until about June!

What a bizarre thing for your birth mother to say!!!!!What are you supposed to do??? Is she looking for sympathy.....advice.....what? I hope you told her to consult an expert or call the suicide hotline.

I have ADHD, too. Interrupting comes with the territory. I try to be aware of the interrupting, and I explain it to people if it seems necessary. Apologizing doesn't mean you'll never do it again. It means you're sorry if you've been rude, and you didn't do it intentionally. If your friend won't let you explain, he's no friend. He's too into himself to care about anyone else.

I would try to be aware of the way you sound and stop talking down to people. Being a habit is no excuse. Thinking before you speak is hard with ADHD, but it can be done at least some of the time.

Hi Heather,

Missed ya at the show. My birds did well but unfortunately there was no competition for my LF WBS Ameraucanas, Buckeyes, Welsummers, Black Cayuga, Swedish Blue, and Pekins. And that's disappointing especially in the case of the Ameraucanas as I'm really very pleased with the results I am seeing from last year's breeding efforts. I know I've turned out the best Ameraucanas that I ever have before.

I thought my White Runners would do better than they did but am guessing they were too small and maybe still to young for the judges. 1st Place went to an old duck that was pretty nice type-wise but was in really poor condition. I did take Best Medium Class Duck with my Swedish Blue. I also think my Black Cayuga would have done pretty well but he got loose as I was loading the birds and he beat his wing tips to a pulp trying to get away as I was trying to catch him. Other than that, a lot of my birds still had a lot of pin feathers and of course that matters. It didn't much matter for the breed because as I mentioned they were all pretty much by themselves but had they been in better condition, I might have done better for the Best of Class.

I hear ya about the molting. I have one Buckeye cockerel that, believe it or not, even now looks like his entire neck is covered with ice sickles. It's nothing but pin feathers!

Anyways, here's wishing you the best for next year and hope to see ya next April in Monroe!

God Bless,

I'm sorry Illia, as I was trying to tell you, we were having issues getting the filly loaded into my trailer... It took us 2 hours to get her in. We ended up building a ramp and backing her in. I was really looking forward to stopping by and meeting you today, and was really bumbed out that it didn't work out. When I called you I had 1 bar of signal, and didn't get signal again until we were in P.A.

So yeah, I was a no show, and feel really bad about it too...
