Techincally yes. Although most EE's from hatcheries descend from the original Quechua that started Ameraucanas, most EE's now a days are just simply mutts that have the blue egg gene, meaning they can lay blue or green eggs but do NOT qualify as an Ameraucana or an Araucana. (hatchery based ones often have production breeds crossed into them to create the green eggs and/or higher production and more color)
They're what most people sell as "Americauna," and what hatcheries and feedstores claim to be Ameraucanas, Americanas, and Araucanas.
My only hatchery based EE, "Tufted," now two years old. She's given me about 15 eggs in all her 2 years of life. And they're light brown.
My non-hatchery Easter Eggers, ironically, are starting to get very faux-EE colors though. Credit from that goes to my Araucana I used though, as he has columbian, silver, gold, and duckwing in him, which is the backbone of a lot of hatchery EE colors.
