I came home from work to babies hatching!
6 Coturnix and 2 Buttons so far!

And my Coturnix look to be a MGold and Ranges a couple are RED! but photo washed the red out

I just sleep random times of the day or night ...Hubby snores too loud to get a good night's sleep!

I just baked our pumpkins which we still had from Halloween and made some pumpkin brownies, yum! Did not think the pumpkins went well with the Christmas decorations. We got the tree Saturday and will decorate it later today.

Way to go on the pies. I have a small pumpkin that should be cooked up. I also need to make a parsnip cake.

Don was checked for sleep apnea, and he has it. His doctor told him he needs the CPAP, and he refuses to get one. Said he will lose weight instead, but that has only gone up (as mine has too). He's stubborn. For now I try and roll him over when he snores, but that is getting harder to do. He can sleep through anything!

He thought it would sound like a hospital room. I was hoping he'd relent and get it when a good friend of ours got an insulin pump for his diabetes. He likes it because he is another techie geek and can program it for what he eats. His wife said sometimes it comes out while he sleeps, and the alarm goes off, and the insulin gets the mattress wet. The CPAP sounds much less complicated!

I think I may try and sleep now since I have to get up at 6. Good luck with your bread! My chickens will be very happy as soon as the sun comes up - they are getting the pumpkin rinds and pulp and veggie scraps I have left from all the cooking I did on Sunday.
