X2 Baby girls are wonderful. You can play princess with them so much easier than with a boy kid.

You need one of those kiddie harnesses and you can tie her (DD) to a tree
lau.gif
seriously!
You could also maybe get a playpen or alike a dog kennel, put down a piece of plywood or carpet and toys and shut her in there to play where you can see her and she can see you...would that work ?
I used a playpen with mine and then tied a blanket on top cuz my DD would escape lickity split and be in the creek faster than I could grab her.
I used to clothes pin the blanket on top, gave her safety and shade and I could get yardwork done.
Worked great.
I used a harness on DS..he would haul fanny right out into traffic !
Trying to push a stroller with DD and hold DS was a nightmare...so I got a kiddie halter and tied it to the stroller so he could not run off...he was bad about that, most little kids freak if their parents are gone from their sight...not my son, he was in heaven if we were out of sight, he was into eveything and was so hard to catch sometimes without leaving the stroller to run after him...I believe he did it for the attention so his sister would not have the attention...brat!
I saw a couple at a store not too long ago with a toddler on a kiddie harness that looked like he had a stuffed animal cat on his back hugging him, very cute and very smart!
Especially when the stores are crowded and it is so easy to loose a kid in a store right now...

I love to see little kids in harnesses. The harnesses are so cute now. As little kids we were often taken to to large gatherings and there is nothing more scary than being lost. I have read about people that don't like them, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Yep I was looking though an old cooking magazine and spotted the recipe. They said it is a bit like carrot cake. Cream cheese frosting and all. I normally cook my parsnips with butter brown sugar and nutmeg. The family loves them that way. So I need to try the cake next.

I am happy that you and your DH are okay too.

Mine has apnea, it really shows up as you age and your facial skin becomes so more loose.
His Dad has been seeing a dr about it too, and another friend of mine's huby has it so bad he has to wear one of those positive air pressure masks at night.
The snoring here is astonomical...I get about an hour or two a night.
I am so exhausted...and in this tiny cabin there is no where to go to get some quiet.
SIGH!
I just did 2 to freezer camp, a roo and a mature buck meta rabbit.
that is enough for 1 day.
Now to finish transferring the frozen food to the new freezer...
I am quitting the meat rabbit biz...anyone want a pair of buns let me know, $15 a head.
http://bestsmileys.com/christmas1/3.gif

I know I can not get them but what breed and sex are they.

The rabbits ?
There is 3 fryers, about 2 1/2 mo old.
They are ready for freezer camp or grow on to roasters OR use as foundation stock.
There is an adult Buck and an adult Doe that had a litter about 4 days ago.
She is a fantastic Mommie and I spoil her, I allow myself to fall in love with her and the Buck.
The other buck went to freezer this morning.
Then I butcherd 3 birds.
And I cannot tell you how much easier it is to dress a rabbit than it is to pluck and dress a bird, yuck!
The rabbits are purebred California Meat Rabbits, I was an ARBA member up until a few weeks ago and did not renew my membership, I thought, why should I ??????

Incidently, these buns are skinned, so it is relatively easy to pull the skin down in a tube fashion, and then the meat can be delt with just as a chicken although the back strap on a rabbit is lareg and the breast does not exist.
But the good part is butchered young, the meat parts can go right on the barbeque and not be dried out or turn jerky-like or tough.
When older, they can be very large...very, and I roast or stew them.
Their pelts are awesome, too, for anyone that is into hides.
Right now in winter the fur is THICK and the hair tight, no shedding.
They are considered a true fur bearing mammal.

Absolutely true !
You can actually have your heart stop !
There is so many many times A NIGHT that I lay here and listen to DH snor, then he STOPS!!!
And I feel his cheast go up and down as if struggling for air an unable to breath...then suddenly he will suck in a huge breath and start breathing again.
This is shear torture to listen to, and keeps me awake worse than the snoring...
What I am interested in is the Pillar Procedure at a Seattle Oral Surgery Practice.
I worked in Oral surgery for years, and I know exactly what causes apnea...the elongated soft pallet.
Years ago it had to be clipped, which is no biggee...the area at the back of the roof of your mouth that is soft tissue will flap in the wind when you breath and/or plug your breath entirely.
Now the pillar procedure comes along where they insert a sterile wire in that area that stiffens the flap of tissue to hold it up...look up "stop snoring seattle.com" or the pillar procedure.
If you call or e-mail, the doc usually answers.
I want this for DH in the worst way, but we are so overburdened with bills and needs at the moment.
He just came in and said our renter in our house in CA has been having electrical, breaker popping, a main 30 amper.
So we are sending son in law electrician over to look at it, but when it pops the whole place goes dead.
Needs to be tested to see if it is a bad breaker or a short...remember the whole place is solar...AARRGGHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugg... Tomorrow is the dreaded christmass shopping day for my DH and I... I am so not looking forward to it. I really dispise shopping, unless its at a farm store. lol

And double ugg... I just posted my truck for sale. I am sick and tired of not being able to figure the stupid thing out. Can not for the life of me figure out why it blows so much darn exaust, its white exaust but there is LOTS of it...

Fixed the starter, the heater hoses, breaks, tune up, tranny service, all maintenance upkeep, and yet I still can't get it to run quite right... So Ive about given up, will keep trying to figure it out, gbut if it sells, well then I no longer have a frustrating truck on my hands.

There is part of me that would love to have meat rabbits, but DH would kill me and I am scared of DS crying again. Someday I want to eat rabbit that has been well cooked. Both times I have had the opportunity to eat it, the meat was either burned or had a
sickbyc.gif
sauce over it. I am hoping that someday I will find it on a menu in a bistro. I know that at least it will well seasoned and cooked correctly.

The nasty little dogs broke another bunny. Kitty the bunny was just laying in the floor when I found him. So no more house bunnies for me, until all the nasty little dogs are gone.

My DH does the same thing... The only time I CAN sleep is when he is snoring... He will stop breathing long enough that I have to nudge him / elbow him to breath... Ive noticed that he stopps breathing more when he is on his back than when he sleeps on his side... It is scary though.
