Jen, there are a couple of blogs out there on a year of Crockpot cooking, so they each have at least 365 recipes.

One is http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/ and another is http://www.365daysofcrockpot.com/.

We
do a Creamy Italian Chicken with boneless breasts or thighs (we actually like thighs more in the crockpot as the texture on the breasts gets weird).
Put the meat in. Mix a 1/4 cup of water with a packet of Italian Salad Dressing Mix and pour over chicken. Half hour before eating, mix a can of Cream of Chicken soup and a brick of Cream Cheese (we only use half a brick) and stir into the sauce in the crockpot and continue cooking for half an hour. You could also add broccoli or peas at this time. Serve over egg noodles or rice.

Beef Dips AND Beef Stroganoff
Take a rump roast or pot roast or any roast really. Put in the crock pot and pour over with one dark beer (I always use one of DH's Guiness), one can of beef broth, one can of Campbells French Onion soup. Cook, then shred. Butter hoagy rolls and toast and pile on the meat and serve with broth for dipping. With leftover meat & broth I add some sour cream the next day and turn it into Beef Stroganoff and serve over egg noodles.

BBQ Pork or Chicken.
Dump a bottle of your favorote BBQ sauce over meat and cook all day.

These are some of the ones we do most often. Enjoy!

My 2 favorite Oregon town names are Drain and Boring.

For WA, Humptulips.

Here in Kansas we have a town called Gas, in Missouri a town call Peculiar but one of my favorite town name would be Toad Suck Arkansas.

There is also a 'North Bend' & 'South Bend' and a plain old 'Bend' in Oregon, too.
My Dad told me once that Oregon has copied every city it has from some city elsewhere..Millwaukee ??
I think it's only original name, is Willamett.

And Canby!! LOL Though my town is named for General Canby...hey, at least Milwaukie is spelled different here. LOL. Lots of our names are for area Indians. Like Milwaukie and Willamette.

My younger brother lives in Canby Oregon.

Stay away from the Giant White and the Broad Breasted Bronze and Broad Breasted White.

denniselk has some Midget White for sale. I like the Narragansett but if you want turkeys that look like wild turkeys you will want Standard Bronze.

Years ago I had a Bourbon Red hen, very nice hen until our collie licked every feather off of her, she live for about 10 hours after that.

My BIL lives over there (I think more Lake Stevens area but not sure) and he rebuilds VW bugs...but it is the older ones. Last I heard he had 2 that he had done...where you looking for older or newer model? I could always send you his contact information if you would like. Oh, btw, he has been rebuilding for as long as I can remember. He used to race them in Monroe, too. He did one up as Herbie.

DD would love Herbie! But it's a 2005. Need to find out how much the insurance settlement will be. Have already paid $400 in tows just for proper diagnostics. There is an old Swiss guy in town who rebuilds old VW's, I don't know if he will do this one, but wherever it is, I need it to be a short tow away from its current location in Bellevue. We are going to see about buying it back from the wreckers. Thanksgiving week, we just had a big service done on the car, and bought a new battery and new tires that don't even have 200 miles on them yet! That sucks. I used to have a 2001 Odyssey, and when we were driving back from a vacation down in CA, the transmission went right in front of a used car dealer. We just transferred all our crap from the van to the only car they had on the lot that would fit it all ... 4 people, 4 bicycles, luggage and a big dog. Got an 05 Pilot and continued on our way. Much like this car, I had just had a mojor service on the car (100,000 mi), new battery and new tires for the trip.
