Some random photos since I know y'all love photos, too!
Each season has its own beauty but, I must admit, a couple days of snow is plenty for me.
Here's my last garden bouquet of the year; I loved how my last yellow roses (Sunsprite) played off the blueberry leaves turning to red.

Here's a shot my daughter took while I was cleaning the coop. I love the warm glow radiating from the windows in an otherwise cold, hard environment.

Come summer, that area comes alive with color, softening the hardscape.

This is my favorite place to enjoy a cup of tea - rain or shine! However, when it snows, it's just too cold for me!

All this talk of food has me hungry. When we get a pot luck planned, sounds like a Mexican/Native American theme might be in order. I worked for a while years ago in an authentic mexican diner, learned how to make Chili Rellenos (At least one version of them)

oh man yum! Authentic Mexican food.. is my FAVORITE. We were in Mexico some time ago, I had the worlds BIGGEST margarita and the very very best quesadilla. EVER. I think it was just cheese, tortilla and jalapenos. but I can't seem to replicate it at home. how silly right? I tried the queso cheese and everything. There was something secret in it.

probably because you can't get the right tortillas here unless you make them yourself. Use corn tortillas, but fresh-made. They're much softer than the ones in the store. Best cheese to use is called "Queso fresco" which is the right mexican cheese... you sure it didn't have green tomatillo salsa in it?

That was my first job at that restaurant, making the tortillas by hand from masa.

Those boxes AND the dog run ideas are awesome. However, we don't have a truck so that makes it difficult getting stuff like that because I have no easy way to go and pick them up. I wish that DH would trade in his Beetle for a truck in the worst way, but he loves that little bug! Maybe one day!
