My kids love growing blue potatoes because they make lavender colored mashed potatoes.

Hey, I know someone who hates Peaches that aren't peeled. Weird people out there.

CR I love boiled peanuts with cayenne peppers in them. I took some to work and they all about gagged saying they was all soft and mushy lol. Thy prefer roasted peanuts up here. I like me some boiled peanuts. Some salt and some cayenne pepper, I guarantee they are some good eating.

Fried green tomatoes are good too. Bttered and fried with some salt and pepper. Corn meal is the best to dip the in after they have been dredged in egg batter.

We ourselves have over 12 varieties of tomatoes, all of different kinds. The most awesome of all in my opinion is an old variety called Reisetomate. The picture shows ONE tomato, believe it or not. They are very tasty for fresh eating and great for pulling apart as a snack.

For saving seeds how do you keep them from cross pollinating?

Well we had a pretty good trip to Portland yesterday. The prices for copper, brass and aluminum are the highest I have ever seen.

If ya have any of this stuff don't be giving it away it is money in yer pocket.
