Hey Seattle gang. Those of you who met at Third place books

I was there again last night. I saw a group (including TWO men) Knitting at a table. I was thinking maybe thats what WE should do at our next get together

I'm sure we could get Chicken Rustler to come up and teach us how

. I hear he has been knitting for years and his Whole Flock has matching wool hats and booties

As far as when we grew up, I thougth I grew up in the 80's , BUT my DW says I STILL haven't

Am I the only one who doesn't have snow?

I'm at the Ocean Shores house now and there's no snow. It was gray and drizzly on the drive down, but just as I hit Aberdeen the sun came bursting through some gorgeous layered clouds. It was brilliantly reflecting over the water as I turned onto the road that leads through the woods to Ocean Shores. Still clear - just arrived back from running some errands and was appreciating the crescent moon. I hope it doesn't snow this way or else I'll have to go home early so I can make sure I get to work by Thursday.​

Ocean shores, you oughta be here year round ! It can get down right scarey !
I think the worst of our weather lately is that that came down north right into Puget Sound ...it is rare, but is colder.
What we get here on the coast, is the big banana.
No pineapple...Bananas my DH says...the banana express.

Hey Ron, the closest I ever got to knitting was making a cast net when I was a teen (and patching it when I threw it over oystershell clumps). I dont think I could get into knitting socks for chickens. The wife likes to crochet but I dont have the temperament for it I dont think.
