Yes--alfalfa is good protein too.

I tried to get mine to eat those--softened in nice warm water... yum yum right? wouldn't touch 'em.... even with corn on top to lure them in. They ate the crack, but not the pellets.

yes the computer postings are slow and getting weird, and a few I have hit the send button and a weird page pops up that says "Bad Choice" Page no longer listed? Well, goodnight all ! And stay warm and

I would love to teach you the bits that I know but not sure of the distance. If you find a pattern you like and have a yarn shop near you. If you go in they are usually so helpful when you get stuck or need advice.
Next, you will be on the yarn animals threads looking at an angora rabbit, alpacas, mohairs, ....

WSW: You have some real choice neighbors! I don't know what I would do. Since Animal Control won't do anything, maybe make an annonymous call to PETA or some other group. Yikes! She was home and was just going to let the dog drown? All that poo is disgusting. I don't understand how people can live like that. The poor animals.

Snow: we have about 5" of mushy wet stuff. It seems to have stopped snowing. I don't know if there is snow in North Bend, or if it is just up here. We put the heat lamp on in the run today, and now the hens won't go to bed.
